Unbound Worlds Likes: 4/9/11

The Magician King by Lev GrossmanThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds posted the First 50 Pages of The Hound by Kevin Hearne, Chris Wooding continued The Logbook of the Ketty Jay, Maggie posted the New Releases of the week, Terry Brooks posted his review of Kraken by China Mieville, and the 2011 Unbound Worlds Cage Match is in its final match—Vin vs. Quick Ben!

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com is re-reading A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin, Pyr Books posted Sometimes You Really Want To Take a Sword To Someone, and Orbit Books features Daniel Abraham and The Two Tolkiens!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 4/9/11:

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
