A DANCE WITH DRAGONS - coverThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds posted the First 50 Pages of Enigmatic Pilot by Kris Saknussemm, author Kevin Hearne wrote an article titled Shelf Wars, and Elio Garcia Jr. reviewed HBO’s Game of Thrones: You Win or You Die! That’s not all though. Matt Staggs interviewed Peter David about his new novel Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and I polled the fans Do You Like The Hobbit Subtitles?!

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com continued their reread of A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin, Pyr Books posted The Dervish House for $1.99, and Orbit Books released Perfect Shadow by Brent Weeks!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 6/4/11:
