The Cold Commands by Richard MorganThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds posted the First 50 Pages from Myth Hunters by Christopher Golden. We also polled fans Which Star Wars Book(s) Do You Want To Jump From Page To Screen? and posted an excerpt from Star Wars: Shadow Games. That’s not all though. Matt Staggs interviewed David Knight, author of Battlefield 3 Official Game Guide. I uploaded Event Video: Richard Kadrey, author of Aloha From Hell, and I interviewed Terry Brooks for the release of High Druid of Shannara.

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com featured Fiction Affliction for November, Pyr Books posted the Spanish cover of Shadow’s Son by Jon Sprunk, and Orbit Books posted wallpapers of The Heroes by Joe Abercrombie!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 10/29/11:
