Unbound Worlds Likes: 11/26/11

s-typeopts13The internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds posted the very sad news that bestselling author Anne McCaffrey passed away. Shawn Speakman shared his McCaffrey memory as did author Terry Brooks. That’s not all though. Matt Staggs interviewed Christopher Paolini, author of Inheritance. I also posted my Top 5 2011 Fantasy/Sci-fi Things I’m Thankful For.

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com posted The Inspiration of Anne McCaffrey by Michael Whelan, Pyr Books posted a photo from IlluXcon, and Orbit Books features the Goodreads final round!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 11/26/11:

  • Comment: Elijah Wood in The Hobbit, posted by A Dribble of Ink
  • Review: The Left Hand of God by Paul Hoffman, read by A Fantasy Reader

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
