Unbound Worlds Likes: 12/3/11

sanderson-alloyThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds posted the First 50 Pages of Scar Night by Alan Campbell. Matt Staggs and Shawn Speakman began counting down the Best of 2011 in books. That’s not all though. Matt Staggs posted a rumor that HBO is about to order two more seasons of Game of Thrones. I also posted an interview with Mark Lawrence, author of Prince of Thorns.

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com posted an interview with Steven Erikson, Pyr Books posted a photo of a custom made Ghost, and Orbit Books features Felicia Day’s review of Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 12/3/11:

  • Cover: Count to a Trillion by John C. Wright, posted by A Dribble of Ink
  • Review: The Winds of Khalakovo by Bradley P. Beaulieu, read by A Fantasy Reader
  • Comment: Spotlight on December Books, posted by Fantasy Book Critic
  • Review: Stark’s Crusade by John G. Hemry, read by Fantasy Book Review
  • Review: The Emperor’s Knife by Mazarkis Williams, read by Fantasy Literature
  • Comment: What To Read Next?, posted by Graeme’s Fantasy Book Review
  • Interview: Ari Marmell, posted by Grasping For the Wind
  • Movie News: Boneshaker by Cherie Priest, posted by The Mad Hatter’s Bookshelf
  • Comment: Terri Windling Fundraiser, posted by Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist
  • Review: The Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson, read by Sci-Fi Chick
  • Review: The Alloy of Law, read by Wertzone

I highly recommend all Unbound Worlds readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
