Unbound Worlds Likes: 4/7/12

hearne-trickedThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds posted the First 50 Pages of Without Warning by John Birmingham. Mike Braff posted What Is Coming From Del Rey/Spectra This Month! Aidan Moher talked about The Ending of Mass Effect 3 And Changing It. Matt Staggs posted an Interview With Leela Corman. That’s not all though. Joe Scalora and David Pomerico recapped The Final Four of the 2012 Cage Match, and I posted a great article with an artist legend, Interview: Greg Hildebrandt On The Sword of Shannara?

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com is reading Part 14 of A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin, Pyr Books featured The Prometheus Award Nominees, and Orbit Books posted the cover for Red Country by Joe Abercrombie!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 3/31/12:

  • Cover: The Blinding Knife by Brent Weeks, posted by A Dribble of Ink
  • Comment: April Releases, posted by A Fantasy Reader
  • Comment: Christopher Priest & The Arthur Clarke Award, posted by Fantasy Book Critic
