Great North Road by Peter F. HamiltonThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds featured the First 50 Pages of Blood Eye by Giles Kristian. Fictional Frontiers posted a chat with author G. Willow Wilson. Logan Balestrino continued The Tolkien Re-Read. Matt Staggs posted Guess Essay: Untested by Joe Brassey, as well as an interview with Richard E. Gropp, author of Bad Glass. And I interviewed Anton Strout, author of the new novel, Alchemystic!

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com continued its reread of A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin, Pyr Books posted James Enge Marches Through the Black Gate, and Orbit Books released the cover for The Crown Tower by Michael J. Sullivan!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 9/29/12:

  • Review: The Blinding Knife by Brent Weeks, read by A Dribble of Ink
  • Cover: The Crown Tower by Michael J. Sullivan, read by A Fantasy Reader
  • Review: Great North Road by Peter F. Hamilton, read by Fantasy Book Critic

  • Review: King of Thorns by Mark Lawrence, read by Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist
  • Comment: Wheel of Time iPhone Case, commented by Sci-Fi Chick
  • Comment: Wheel of Time game, posted by Wertzone

I highly recommend all Unbound Worlds readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
