Unbound Worlds Likes: 10/13/12

tolkien-hobbitillustratedThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds featured the First 50 Pages of Hitman: Damnation by Raymond Benson. Fictional Frontiers posted a chat with author Pablo Hildago. Logan Balestrino continued The Hobbit Re-Read. Thalia Sutton posted October 2012 Manga Releases. Matt Staggs visited the NY Comic Con and interviewed numerous people. And I featured an interview with Tad Williams on his new book, The Dirty Streets of Heaven!

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com brought news concerning a new Han Solo book, Pyr Books posted James Enge Marches Through the Black Gate, and Orbit Books posted pictures Fantasycon 2012!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 10/13/12:

  • Comment: James S.A. Corey Writing Han Solo Novel, posted by A Dribble of Ink
  • Review: Stands a Shadow by Col Buchanan, read by A Fantasy Reader
  • Interview: Steve Bein, posted by Fantasy Book Critic
  • Comment: Why You Should Read… Cherie Priest, posted by Fantasy Literature

  • Review: Caliban’s War by James S.A. Corey, posted by Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist
  • Comment: Play Planet Baen, posted by Sci-Fi Chick

I highly recommend all Unbound Worlds readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
