Unbound Worlds Likes: 11/24/12

brett-daylightThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds featured an First 50 Pages of Star Wars: Annihilation by Drew Karpyshyn. Sarah Peed posted a Cubicle at the End of the Universe: Chris Krovatin. Matt Staggs posted How I Got a Signed Vonnegut. And I began posting Gifts For the Geek last week beginning with The Annotated Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks, the A Song of Ice & Fire 2013 Calendar, Brave Blu-ray, and Sometimes the Magic Works!

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com continued its re-read of The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, Pyr Books posted Pyr Podcast Roundtable, and Orbit Books has a new New York Times bestselling book with Red Country by Joe Abercrombie!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 11/24/12:

  • Cover: The Daylight War by Peter V. Brett, posted by A Dribble of Ink

I highly recommend all Unbound Worlds readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
