Unbound Worlds Likes: 3/2/13

brooks-bloodfireThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds featured the First 50 Pages of Star Wars: The Last Jedi by Michael Reaves & Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff. Matt Staggs featured Take Five with Peter Clines, author of Ex-Heroes. Fictional Frontiers featured 15 Minutes of Fiction… Karen Lord, author of The Best of All Possible Worlds. Sarah Peed posted New This Month from Del Rey Spectra: March 2013. I made available Chapter Two of Bloodfire Quest by Terry Brooks, as well as posted Terry’s forthcoming tour!

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com posted the episode titles for HBO’s Game of Thrones: Season 3, Pyr Books featured Fair Coin by Andre Norton, and Orbit Books featured the Ultimate Epic Fantasy Author for the Ultimate Epic Fantasy Fan!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 3/2/13:

  • Comment: A Pern Tribute Anthology, posted by A Dribble of Ink
  • Comment: March Releases, posted by A Fantasy Reader
  • Review: A Memory of Light by Jordan & Sanderson, read by Fantasy Book Critic
  • Interview: Mark Chadbourn, posted by Fantasy Literature
  • Extended Trailer: Game of Thrones: Season 3, posted by Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist
  • Trailer: Oblivion, posted by Sci-Fi Chick
  • Cover: Fiddlehead by Cherie Priest, posted by SF Signal
  • Review: The Grim Company by Luke Scull, posted by Wertzone

I highly recommend all Unbound Worlds readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
