Unbound Worlds Likes: 3/30/13

kay-riverThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds featured the First 50 Pages of The Videssos Cycle by Juliet Dark. Thalia Sutton posted April 2013 New Manga Releases! Matt Staggs posted How Will You Die In Westeros? as well as Round 4 of the Unbound Worlds Cage Match. Eric Geller featured the newest Star Wars HoloNet Digest. Fictional Frontiers posted 15 Minutes of Fiction with Scott Snyder, Batman scribe. And I posted news that the Unfettered anthology is now complete.

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com continued its re-read of A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin, Pyr Books announced that Fair Coin by E.C. Myers, and Orbit Books featured Bloodfire Quest by Terry Brooks!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 3/30/13:

  • Cover: Happy Hour in Hell by Tad Williams, posted by A Dribble of Ink
  • Review: The Red Knight by Miles Cameron, read by A Fantasy Reader
  • Review: River of Stars by Guy Gavriel Kay, read by Fantasy Book Critic
  • Review: Wolfhound Century by Peter Higgins, read by Fantasy Literature
  • Comment: Terry Brooks Hits #7 on Times List, posted by Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist
  • Trailer: The Wolverine, watched by Sci-Fi Chick
  • Comment: Pets in Fantasy, posted by SF Signal
  • Comment: A Newly-Designed GRRM Website, posted by Wertzone

I highly recommend all Unbound Worlds readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
