abraham-tyrantsThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds featured the First 50 Pages of After Earth: A Perfect Beast by Michael Jan Friedman, Robert Greenberger, and Peter David. Logan Balestrino posted Cubicle at the End of the Universe! Matt Staggs interviewed Sam Sheridan, author of The Disaster Diaries, as well as Take a Tour of Earth in Decay: Google Maps & After Earth. Eric Geller featured the newest Star Wars HoloNet Digest. And I posted convention news concerning Phoenix Comicon 13!

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com featured Brandon Sanderson On Discworld, Pyr Books posted the 2013 Hugo Award Nominations, and Orbit Books posted Ender’s Game movie news.

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 4/27/13:

  • Cover: Dream London by Tony Ballantyne, posted by A Dribble of Ink
  • Review: A Memory of Light by Jordan & Sanderson, posted by A Fantasy Reader
  • Guest Post: Scott Lynch, postd by Fantasy Book Critic
  • Interview: Guy Gavriel Kay, posted by Fantasy Literature
  • Video: Nancy Pearl Interviews Guy Gavriel Kay, posted by Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist
  • Review: The Rising by Kelley Armstrong, read by Sci-Fi Chick
  • Review: London Falling by Paul Cornell, read by SF Signal
  • Review: The Tyrant’s Law by Daniel Abraham, read by Wertzone

I highly recommend all Unbound Worlds readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
