Badass Comic Book Cover: Supergirl #21

Every week, I’ll be bringing you a comic book cover that I feel eclipses others out there—to the point I might just have to own it!

The BadAss Comic Book Cover for this week is for Supergirl #21. Why do I love this cover? Despite being on a Superman craze lately with Superman Unchained publishing and Man of Steel entering theaters, I still enjoy reading about Kara. She is different from Clark and adds dimensions to the Krypton mythos. That said, I love this cover. The “S” is centered behind her, framing her, and she is pissed. The heat visions warms up in her eyes and everything turns red in front of her. Just a great composition. Lex Luthor had better watch out. He might have more than he bargained for.
