Forthcoming Tour: Hunted by Kevin Hearne

HuntedTwo weekends ago, I hung out with Kevin Hearne at Phoenix Comicon.

It was a blast. He has such a hilarious sense of humor. Quick-witted and just a down-to-Earth nice guy. He also does one hell of a Scottish brogue. But that’s not all. He’s also a damn fine writer and when it comes to urban fantasy, he tops my list of must reads right next to Jim Butcher and Patricia Briggs.

Kevin will be touring for the release of his new book, Hunted, which publishes June 25th. I like to let fantasy fans know tour details in advance so you all can plan accordingly. Kevin really enjoys talking to fans of fantasy so if he is coming near you on tour, I highly recommend that you go. A great chance to meet a hell of guy and a fantastic writer. And if you haven’t read his first book, Hounded, here is a great reason to do so.

Here is a bit more about the new book, Hunted:

“It may be possible that Hearne and Atticus are the logical heir to Butcher and Dresden.” ? SFFWorld

For a two-thousand-year-old Druid, Atticus O’Sullivan is a pretty fast runner. Good thing, because he’s being chased by not one but two goddesses of the hunt—Artemis and Diana—for messing with one of their own. Dodging their slings and arrows, Atticus, Granuaile, and his wolfhound Oberon are making a mad dash across modern-day Europe to seek help from a friend of the Tuatha Dé Danann. His usual magical option of shifting planes is blocked, so instead of playing hide-and-seek, the game plan is . . . run like hell.

Crashing the pantheon marathon is the Norse god Loki. Killing Atticus is the only loose end he needs to tie up before unleashing Ragnarok—AKA the Apocalypse. Atticus and Granuaile have to outfox the Olympians and contain the god of mischief if they want to go on living—and still have a world to live in.
