‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Has Already Started Filming


Star_Wars_Logo.svgOh, that sneaky J.J. Abrams… It looks like filming for Star Wars: Episode VII has already begun, despite earlier reports that claimed otherwise.

According to Variety, Walt Disney chairman Alan Horn spilled that particular can of galactic beans during a talk at the Loyola Marymount School of Film and Television in Los Angeles:

“We’re actually shooting some of it now,” Horn said, despite previous comments that filming would start next month. The chairman could have been referring to getting B-roll and location shots without having the cast on set, but he didn’t divulge any information beyond that.

Horn also said that they’ve got many cast members, but not all of them. Are they shooting around the absences? Are they just shooting “B-Roll”?
