The internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Unbound Worlds featured the First 50 Pages of Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan. Unbound Worlds posted a giveaway for Two Years Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Nights by Salman Rushdie. Matt Staggs posted that NASA are big fans of the movie The Martian, based on the book and coming to theaters on October 2nd! MCrouse featured the newest Star Wars HoloNet Digest. And I interviewed many authors about what they are currently doing at this very moment. I also posted a new video featuring Terry Brooks talking about The Shannara Chronicles!

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com posted September Picks From B&N, Pyr Books features steampunk steampunk steampunk, and Orbit Books will publish Sharp Ends by Joe Abercrombie!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Unbound Worlds week ending 8/29/15:

  • Review: The Shadow Throne by Django Wexler, posted by A Dribble of Ink
  • Cover: Fall of Light by Steven Erikson, posted by A Fantasy Reader
  • Interview: Tim Marquitz, conducted by Fantasy Book Critic
  • Review: Fool’s Quest by Robin Hobb, read by Fantasy Literature
  • Excerpt: Lightless by C.A. Higgins, posted by Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist
  • Review: The Nightmare Charade by Mindee Arnett, read by Sci-Fi Chick
  • Comment: Hugo Award Reactions, posted by SF Signal
  • Comment: The History of Epic Fantasy, posted by Wertzone

I highly recommend all Unbound Worlds readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Til next week…
